Maubeuge, the town with the most beautiful moonlight. A song of the sixties "Le Clair de Lune à Maubeuge" let know the city and Maubeuge which called a Hall the Luna is proud of its moonshine. The center was built from the architect André Lurçat after 1945 and is quiet modern, but it has still its town walls from Vauban and some other architectural pieces.
